Jesna Louis joined Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology at Cochin University of Science and Technology under the mentorship of Dr. Honey John in April 2017.

As a chemistry graduate, Dhanu tried exploring different nano particle materials for various applications based on its size and mode of synthesis.

Bijina completed her graduation from School Of Technology And Applied Sciences, MG University, Kottayam. She has done a short term project on activated charcoal incorporated low density polyethylene films for food packaging applications in Defence Food Research Laboratory of DRDO, Mysore.

Mubeena Rafi joined Inter University Centre for Nanomaterials and Devices in June 2019 as a Junior Research Fellow under the guidance of Dr. Pramod Gopinath and Dr. Honey John.

Vijoy joined the International School of Photonics, CUSAT, in July 2019 as a PhD scholar under the guidance of Dr. Saji K J and co-guidance of Dr. Honey John.

Amruth joined Inter University Centre for Nano-materials and Devices (IUCND), CUSAT, in July 2020 as a Junior Research Fellow under DST project under the main guidance of Dr. Honey John and Co-guidance of Dr. N. Manoj.

Mathew completed his graduation in Analytical Chemistry from CMS college, Kottyam.

Amrutha Thomas completed her Master degree in Nanotechnology from Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine at Cochin.

Animasree completed her graduation in Chemistry from School of Chemical Science, Swami Anantha Theertha Campus – Kannur University in the year 2015.

Sithara Radhakrishnan recently joined Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology as Junior Research Fellow under the supervision of Dr. Honey John and Dr. T Santhanakrishnan.

Christy completed her postgraduation from Madras Christian College, Chennai.

Jiby Isaac joined Honey John Research Group in September 2020. With 25 years’ experience in the R&D of tyre industries, he is currently heading the R&D for TBR tyres in Apollo Tyres Global R & D centre, Chennai.

Ms Deena Paul joined the Group as a PhD scholar in August 2022. After receiving her BS-MS dual degree in Chemistry from IISER Bhopal, she has been working as Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate and Research Department of Chemistry at St. Joseph’s College, Moolamattom, Idukki since 2015. In Honey John Research group, Deena works on the removal of organic and heavy metal pollutants from water for clean environment and drinking water purification. She has co-authored a research paper entitled as ‘Investigating the micellization of the Triton-X surfactants: A Non-invasive Fluorometric and Calorimetric Approach’ in Chemical Physics Letters during her master’s degree. She is a life member in Magnetic Resonance Society Kerala.

Athira Sony joined Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology as Junior Research Fellow in CSIR-ES project under the supervision of Dr. Honey John and Dr. Thomas Kurian in September 2022 after completing her MPhil from SB College Changanassery. Her MPhil thesis was based on the fabrication of cellulose nanofibers with thiol functionalization for metal ion adsorption. Currently she is working in the development of conductive elastomers for various conducting and energy harvesting applications.
